Journler
Elegant, beautiful, powerful. Journler is a place for your thoughts and everything they touch. I've been working with Phil Dow, the developer of Journler, to redevelop the website and branding and consult on the redevelopment of the Journler icon (left). The site is now complete and Phil has recently released version 2.5 of his popular journal software for the Mac. Journler was recently the featured download on Apple.com which has caused a large spike in the number of Journler users!

Logo Designs
In addition to website development I also enjoy doing logo design once in a while. Below are a few of the logos that I designed.
I worked with Victor Jose to setup a blog for The Graphic Online. As part of the process I created this title treatment. |
I'm doing some contract design work for Auction Serivces and one of my recent projects was designing a logo for AuctioneerJobs.com |
Tech Talk was a show that I was working on with a friend. We taped the first episode, but never released it. This was the logo I had designed for us to use. This project has since turned into a monthly technology forum hosted by Summersault and the Richmond Innovation Center. |
The Anchor is a praise and worship service aimed at bringing teenagers and young adults to either a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ or to help them grow to understand God more fully as they take steps of faith and worship Him with their whole being. |
Project 4.12 is a mission trip, but not just any mission trip. This project will happen right here in our own community, serving and loving the people that live right here in our own neighborhoods. Youth from about a dozen different churches will live together for one week this summer, camping out, worshipping, and working hard to impact this city with the love of Christ. |
Redcone Robotics is an online community of robotics enthusiasts. A mutual friend introduced the owner of the site and I and I helped give him a new look for his website and also developed this logo for him. |
Temple Gym was the name of a business venture a friend of mine has been working towards for several years. I designed this log for him to use on his proposals for potential investors. |
Back in the Spring of 2004 I was working with Friends United Meeting on an issue of Quaker Life Magazine while their designer was on maternity leave. While working there I was inspired to start a magazine of my own. It obviously never turned into anything but I did come up with a title treatment! :) |
In the winter of 2004 I was working with a friend and co-worker on a video series called Life on Main Street. The idea was to feature businesses and organizations that have setup shop on Main Street. This was the logo we used. |
Living-Dead.com was a horror and sci-fi movie database and horror movie fan community. I ran the site for several years before leaving in 2003. The domain is still being used by another webmaster, but the site doesn't have the same focus. For more information about the old Living-Dead, check out this page. |
Brochures and Printed Materials
When I was in college I spent most of my time developing items for print as opposed to online graphics. Below are some items that I've developed for various projects.
