Interesting Stuff

This is currently being re-written. The old version is below.

My Digital Testimony

It seems as though we are really only here for one reason. To take the test of life. While some of us do better than others on the final score, NONE of us ace the test.

What is life without a purpose, a meaning, or a goal? In that same sentence I can ask you what is life without God. The answer is the same for both, nothing. Without faith, hope, love, and dedication to God, we are nothing. The sad thing is that most people will spend their entire life searching for something that they will never find, a meaning to life that does not involve God, and Jesus Christ.

Most people will tell you that they believe in God, and that they know he exists. As a response to that, I say Satan also believes in God, and he also knows that God exists. Believing in God is not a way out of a jam like a "Get out of Jail Free Card", having faith in God is more like watching an adventure movie that you already know the end to, you get unsure if the hero is going to survive, but just when you get really worried, you realize that you already know that they are going to be okay. Christianity is somewhat like this.

It is not the case however that Christians just pass through life without a care in the world because they know the end of the movie, but I will admit that I don't get as stressed out as much as I used to because I know that I have a place in God's kingdom.

I once heard someone relate life in Christ to a computer game.

"I think that believing in God, and in Jesus is very similar to a game I have on my computer. In this game you make a decision at the very beginning of the game, and then proceed to play this game for several more hours only to find out that if you didn't make the right choice for that first puzzle, there was NO WAY that you could win the game. However, if you have this certain cheat code, you can win the game no matter WHAT happens.

Life is the game, and Jesus Christ is the cheat code. This is what people that do not love Jesus Christ risk, that THEY have made the wrong choice, and that they may never know it until the very end, when it is too late."

My Thoughts on Other Religions

I am very afraid of the popularity of eastern religions right now, I have to say. I can see thousands of people that turn to some sort of "inner god", or an eastern mystic, and they "KNOW" that is the meaning of life, not realizing that they have done nothing more than succumb to one of the many traps that has been set by the lovers of evil.

I know many people that are completely dependent on themselves, that believe that THEY are a physical part of God, as if God split himself into 6.4 Billion pieces, and called each piece a human being. This is all so hurtful to me, I really do love every person that is so lost in their meaningless religions, and there trivial rituals.

Now I know what you are thinking, "Oh great, another Christian Freak that thinks they know the answer to everything, and I know nothing." Well, guess what, I have not always believed in God. As a matter of fact, I used to HATE God. I listened to satanic music, I would partake in ceremonies involving witchcraft. I would even scoff, and curse Christians. It is because I once lived the way you do that I understand what you think, and go through. I remember feeling like life was meaningless, and that I did not know why I never felt like anything I did was worth while.

Well, one day I realized that inside of everyone that does not know Jesus Christ as their savior is a small piece of very pathetic pride, a pride that makes them think that they are the ones that are strong, because they are able to get by without this soft and muchy Jesus character. Well, I hate to tell them, but It does not matter if you believe in Jesus or not, he believes in you! In the end, at the final judgment, he will either know you as a person that walked with him, or someone that did not.

The sad part is that there is NOTHING that you sacrifice when you become a Christian other than stupidity, and immaturity. The fact is that the only reason that people do not come to Christ (if they know it or not), is because they are too selfish, and have not yet realized that they cannot get to Heaven without Jesus. They spend there entire lives trying to do good deeds, and help people out, and sing praises to themselves all the while.

On Becoming A Christian

I KNOW that most of you don't know what it takes to become a Christian. Yeah, you may know about some of the facts, but you don't realize how simple it is. The only thing that will change in your life is the desire to be more pleasing to God, and his plan. What I mean by God's plan is his overall plan for the human existence.

I am here to tell you something. I remember thinking when I heard a Christian get on a soapbox that there was know way that they could KNOW that God exists. However, I have found that this is not the case. When you become a Christian, and you ask Jesus into your heart, you FEEL it. This is not just a feeling because of the hype surrounding it, this is an honest to God physical feeling of new life.

If you are a Christian, or have questions that you would like me to help you with (we all know that they Bible can be hard to understand sometimes), just let me know. I do not claim to have great knowledge of the Bible, or to have the answers to some of life's most frequently asked questions, but I do claim to love God, and Jesus with all of my heart, and I feel that I do have a good understanding of life, and why some things happen.

If you are interested in praying to God, and accepting Jesus into your heart as your personal savior, you can use the prayer below as a guide, or just pray something that let's God know that you realize that you are a sinner, and that you have been wrong in trying to live life without him as your guide, and that you want to try and be more pleasing to him from now on. Please realize that just because you accept God's grace, does not mean that you will never do anything evil, or wrong again, it simply means that provisions for your salvation have been made through Jesus' death on the cross.

A prayer to invite Jesus into your life.

Lord, I realize that I have been running away from you, and avoiding your commands at all cost. I realize that I have sinned many times, and without your son Jesus I cannot make it into your Heaven. I pray that you will please forgive me for all of my wrong doings, and give me life anew with Jesus Christ as my friend, and guide. In your name I pray, Amen.

By saying this prayer (or one similar to it), and accepting it with ALL of your heart, you have now accepted Jesus Christ into your heart. If you have done this, I KNOW that you are excited, and want to share this with someone. Feel free to tell me about your experience with God!
