I’ve been playing an acoustic guitar for close to 10 years now, but have only picked up an electric guitar a few times. Never played a Fender before. What should I look for in an electric guitar before deciding to purchase one?

And you married exceptionally well, it seems. A wife that values such things is hard to come by. Mine does, too, but they are few and far between, methinks.
