I’ve been using Ulead Photo Explorer (http://www.ulead.com/pex/runme.htm) for several years and have been very happy with it. My solution has been to store my photos in folders by year, then sub-folders by month, then by general subject. For the most part, it’s a workable system.

I’ve heard some rumblings about Picasa, but it’s nice to see a personal review. It’s also nice to know there is a solution I can offer to folks who need to do some basic photo manipulation – but who don’t want to invest in an Adobe product.
