Back to life
Posted by Evan in What's new with me?
Even though I’ve been out of school for some time now, the summer still tends to free me up from a lot of commitments that I have throughout the rest of the year. Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) doesn’t meet all summer, I don’t have any classes and things just don’t seem to be as busy. Well, summer is over and it’s time to get back into the routine.
Tonight is the first night of BSF and I’m really looking forward to it. I now go to church with many of the people that attend BSF so it will be even more of a fellowship time than it has been in the past. I’ll get to see some of my friends from our old church as well, which will be great. I’ll also get back in theĆ habit of studying my Bible on a regular basis, which will be great.
My class has been going on for a couple of weeks now and it’s going to be very interesting. It only meets once a week and there’s no homework, so it shouldn’t require too much of my spare time to complete. I’m still waiting on my book to come, but so far I haven’t really needed it.
In a way it’s really a relief that things are getting started up again. It’s nice to have a sense of routine every once in a while. This time of year is always great anyway because it’s fall, so there’s something in the air that can’t be described. Let’s just hope when things get hectic that I’ll be able to stop and remember how much I love this time of year.
