Life on Main Street

My second (new) entry in the (new) weblog! Yeah!

I’ve mentioned before that I’m working on a television show with Chris. Well, there are a couple of updates related to this. We’re filming our first interview on Saturday with one of our featured businesses for our pilot episode. It’s going to be a great learning experience to actually have other people involved instead of just Chris and I. We’re doing a little preparation this afternoon to decide on a few technical details and get ready for the “big shoot” tomorrow. This is fun!

I’ve been doing some editing of some footage we got around Main Street in hopes of coming up with a good title sequence. We have song picked out, but I’m having trouble envisioning what the intro should look like. Currently I’ve got lots of footage of large numbers of cars driving through main street and a couple of shots of people walking down the street. I’ve been doing the editing at home in Adobe Premiere, which is about as good as it gets for Windows. Final Cut Express would be my first choice, but it’s pretty pricey.

I’m looking forward to a 3-day weekend. I worked a little more on my video game last night and got a little further along in the storyline and also cleaned up many of the little bugs I’ve noticed in the past. I’ll post more on this as the game progresses.
