It’s been a little while since my last post, so I thought I’d add a little update for all to see.
Things are going well, I found a second job and Kristen and I are well on our way to getting some money saved to buy a house. It’s exciting, and my second job (so far) will only require work from me on Thursday through Sunday. It will be interesting to be working in a different environment for a while.
My grandfather, who has had terminal cancer for nearly a year now, has (according to the doctors) not much longer to live. I went to see him at the hospital and now I feel much better knowing that his suffering will in fact come to an end. He’s had a long and busy life and I know he’s ready to rest. He’s also a Christian, which makes this situation much less painful for everyone because the fear and apprehension of death isn’t there for him or us. He’s back home now and appears to be doing better.
My brother, Mitchell had flown back here from Arizona to visit my grandfather, but he’s back home now. He just got a job as the head of the paint department at the local Home Depot in Casa Grande, Arizona. He’s excited to have his first well-paying job, and I think this will be a huge stepping-stone for him.
Well, I can’t think of much else right now, but if I do I’ll post it here.
