Pansy’s shiny, suave sweater!

Wednesday, March 26, 2003

Well, once again it’s been a little while since my last post. Not much has changed, but I wanted to share some cute photos with everyone. About a week ago, while looking around on eBay, Kristen and I found the cutest little dog sweater and thought we should buy it… for our cat Pansy… Click on the photos to enlarge.

Pansy’s Suave, Shiny Sweater!

Believe it or not, she REALLY likes wearing it. It took me a little while to get it around her plump torso, but I did it and she laid in my lap like she was dead for a couple of minutes. Now, she’s walking around and it makes a very funny sound, a sound similar to someone walking around in nylon pants… ha ha.

Other than the cat and her net attire, not much is new. I still have LOTS of stuff for sale on eBay and I have to say that I really like selling stuff on there and it’s a great way to get rid of stuff that is worth something, but no one around you is willing to pay for it. :) If you’d like to see the items I’m currently selling, check this link out.

I just found out today that my dad is going to be in town from Arizona next month for a couple of days for work and it sounds like we’ll get to go see him in Indy and go out to dinner or something. That should be a lot of fun even though we’re going out to Arizona about 3 weeks after that to see him.

The monitor I ordered from Dell on the 8th of March is supposed to ship out on Monday, but I’m hoping it will go out a little sooner. It will be nice to have some extra desk space.

Well, I think that’s it for now, I’ll probably write back soon with an update.

Stuff’s going on!

Tuesday, March 11, 2003

It’s been nearly a month since my last post and I can’t believe how fast time has gone since then.

There aren’t that many things new right now other than some updates with the horror movie website, Living-Dead.com, that I run in my spare time. I’ve decided to either sell, or give up my ownership of Living-Dead.com. Most of my reasons have to do with losing interest in running the site after so many years, but there are other personal reasons as well. I have offers from buyers, but I’m not sure if I want to enter into any agreements with people that I’ve never talked to face-to-face. So, who knows what I’ll do.

Other than that I can’t think of much of anything that’s going on. I’m trying my hand at sales on eBay. I have about 20 auctions going right now and it is really fun. The hard part is waiting for bids. I posted them all as 7 day auctions and there have been bids on only 4 items. Plus most of them are VHS tapes, and with the move to DVD I know I won’t get as much for them as I paid. Oh well, that’s the price of technology.

Another thing I guess I could mention is that I just purchased a new monitor. My old monitor went bad and I’ve been using one from work until we got our tax money back. I did some research on Flat-Panel vs. CRT and ended up concluding that with the recent price drop for Flat Panel monitors that it was time to move up. I purchased a 17″ Dell E171FP Flat Panel analog LCD Monitor. It’s black and it has a very nice design. I can’t wait to get it!

Also, this weekend Kristen’s dad and I sat down on the computer and got on Dell’s website and ordered them a computer. I have to say that I can’t believe the value you can get in a computer these days. They got a computer that was loaded with high-end goodies for less than $600, whith shipping included!!! It was pretty amazing. Thought I’m definately an Apple kind of guy I can’t believe how inexpensive the Dell computers are.

Well, I believe that is it for now, I can’t think of anything else to tell you about.
