Almost got taken…

Well, it hasn’t been that long since my last post, but I thought I’d get on and write an update any way.

Well, you know that wonderful graphic design school I spoke about in my last entry? Well, it turns out to be a not-so-wonderful graphic design school… I found a website that had reviews from previous students and all of them were nagative, I even found out that the job listings in that area would sometimes say that students from this particular college "need not apply". So, needless to say, I’m in the process of searching for a new school.

The company I work for, Summersault, has been nominated for Business of the Year by the local organization Uptown Richmond. The awards banquet is this Friday (tomorrow), and it starts at 7:30 a.m.. Mark Stosberg, and I are both attending.

I just found out for sure that Kristen and I are going to be going on a road trip with my grandmother to Arizona this May!!!! I can’t wait, I’ve always wanted to take a long road trip. I know that I mentioned this before, but I just wanted to let you know that it was now set in stone.

Well, I think that’s it for now. I’ll keep you posted on anything else that comes up.

Updates, updates, updates!

Okay, updates, updates, updates!

Things are still going well with Me, Kristen and Pansy. We still love the house, and we are still very happy to be together. We are about to celebrate our 6 month wedding anniversary, and everything is still going very well.

I’m in the process of interviewing for a wonderful Graphic Design school. They have a very prestigious program and it touches on all of the areas that I am intersted in. They seem to be very selective about who they accept, but so far things are going very well, I’ve had two interviews and they still want me so I can’t complain.

Kristen and I are planning on getting weekend jobs this summer so we can save up some money. I’m thinking of getting a job at the movie theater or something like that. I think I’d really like the perks of working in the theater, and I hear that they give their employees 2 free movies per week!! Kristen is thinking of being a waitress so she can get more experience with dealing with people.

I’m still doing Bible study on Monday nights, and I’ve been doing a study of the book of John for 5 or so months now and I love it. I’m getting a knowledge of the Bible that I never thought possible. I’m always amazed at the differences between the popular beliefs about Christianity and Jesus and the actual truth. What a misguided and complacent world we live in…

My cousin Andy has started coming to Bible study with me, and Kristen finally has Monday nights open so she can come too. She really likes it, and is very excited at the possibilies.

Well, I believe that’s it for now. I’ll try and post some more news in the near future.
